The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls provides compassionate and professional long-term, skilled nursing care to veterans and spouses who cannot be cared for in their homes.

We do not mandate you to stay or work more than your scheduled shiftANDwe do not cut work schedules due to low census!

Current CMA Opportunities Available:

· Full-time (all shifts)

· Part-time (all shifts including weekend and casual shifts)

​CMA Responsibilities:

• Administers, prepares, stores, and charts medications according to established policies and procedures.
• Performs resident treatments in accordance with policies and training received.
• Ensures medication rooms and carts are locked at all times.
• Follows resident care/treatment plans, documents noted changes in a resident's physical, mental, or emotional conditions.
• Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring, compassionate and dignified manner which recognizes the individual’s needs and rights.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADL) in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Follows resident care/treatment plans, documents noted changes in a resident’s physical, psychosocial, mental, or emotional conditions according to community policy and procedure.
• Turns, lifts, positions and transports residents into and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, according to care plan.
• Complies with long-term care federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned
