Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Instrumentation Engineer, we'll count on you to:
•Independently coordinate the work of the instrumentation and controls (I&C) design team through the design development and contract document phases of a project, and assist with capturing additional I&C design and systems integration work
•Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
•Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete the documents on schedule
•Conduct systems integration of the I&C system, including programming of PLCs/PCs and HMI customizing for various control software program
•Write and edit I&C specifications, and select equipment and monitoring/control device
•Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all discipline
•Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project document
•Provide construction contract administration as needed
•Conduct QA/QC on the work of other I&C Project Engineers, I&C Project Coordinators or I&C Technicians as needed
•Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
•Minimum of 10 years applicable experience
•PE
•Demonstrated leadership and project management skill
•PLC/WTP and WWTP software programming
•Experience designing I and C Systems, including schematics and loop
•Experience managing I and C project
•Knowledge of Modicon, Wonderware and Interlution
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office product
•Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
•An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualification •Previous work experience with an A&E/Consulting Engineering firm
•Experience utilizing AutoCAD, Plant3D, or REVIT for design document generation
•Design or commissioning experience in Data Center Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS), PLC-based Building Management Systems (BMS), and/or Direct Digital Control Building Automation Systems (DDC BAS)

The expected compensation range for this position is $117,369 - $167,670 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
