HCTec Partners is looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our fast-growing and dynamic team in our Waukesha, Wisconsin and/or Winston-Salem, NC locations. This position is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of an organization’s computer systems, mobile device management, networks (LAN/WAN), and servers. Collaborate with or escalate issues to vendors and subject matter experts as needed. Monitors systems to ensure configurations, performance, resources, and security of the systems meet user needs. Maintains and supports computer hardware and software, and diagnoses issues when necessary. Ensures security measures are effective, including backup and disaster recovery. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assists with designing, implementing, and maintaining minimally complex system infrastructures, as well as implementing, testing, and supporting hardware and software systems. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Assists with the build and implementation of the security posture for a variety of information systems and modules including protecting the software from outside intrusion, ensuring the infrastructure is sound, and developing and managing appropriate user access accounts. Monitors the system for hacking incidents that may lead to altering or destruction of data or clinical systems and ensures use of systems only by authorized users. Provides direction and guidance to local and remote users and team members. May manage, monitor, and audit security master files.
  • Responsible for construction, technical support, and maintenance of existing or planned information system integration with a focus on efficiency, standards, and cost effectiveness. Analyzes client systems and infrastructure to ensure compatibility and adherence to system connectivity and interface specifications.
  • Responsible for the local area network (LAN), including performance, maintenance, security, and upgrade. May work with vendors and oversee installation of new hardware or software. Follows applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Compliant with storage management practices including development of storage allocation, backup/archival procedure, and monitoring storage use and resources. Detects, documents, and quickly resolves system outages or problems during system operation, including collecting/interpreting diagnostic data and follows solution documentation for recovery of the system. Evaluates system issue and coordinates with appropriate IT staff member or vendor when unable to resolve.
  • Assists with implementation, operation, and support of the organization's enterprise-wide desktop services across various locations. Desktop level duties include management and coordination of equipment refreshes, level III Break/Fix issue resolution and problem response/management for the following technologies: Desktops, Zero-Clients, laptops, Tablets, Printers, Smartphones and all newly introduced workstation dependent technologies. Engineering duties include maintenance and advancement of desktop management services, including remote control utilities, software distribution, asset management, virus protection services, and maintenance of a standards-based desktop hardware architecture and application portfolio. May also address user tickets and assist users with installing applications.
  • Responsible for installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment such as microphones, video screens, projectors, recording equipment, etc. throughout the organization. Maintains, cleans, stores, and inventories equipment. May require travel to different locations to assist with initial equipment set up and/or for meetings, presentations, events, etc.
  • Navigates technical issues such as installation support, troubleshooting assistance, coordinating with vendors, and resolving any stakeholder issues with the organization's telehealth devices.

Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary. o Monitor for Errors in vCenter
o Create Virtual Machines as needed for projects

  • Horizon View VDI 8.0 Support MGMT

o Patch Management

  • Work with IT Leadership to schedule updates and security vulnerabilities.

  • Monitor Daily Usage and validate the capacity of Horizon
  • Make recommendations to IT leadership on how to utilize Horizon

Job Requirements:

Education:
Associate degree preferred.

Previous Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience with supporting and managing IT infrastructure required.
- Combination of two years of education and experience in position field required.

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.

Knowledge:
- Microsoft: MS O365; MS InTune; Active Directory; MS Server; MS SQL; SQL Server, MS Teams, SharePoint preferred.
- Backup Systems and Network/Cloud Storage preferred.
