Job Summary

This position will work from the Richardson, TX office 5 days a week for the first 4-6 months. After a performance review, this role will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.

Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.*

This position helps ensure Professional Providers apply for initial credentialing or re-credentialing, to be presented to the medical director and / or credentialing committee for network participation in a timely manner.

Ensure documentation for those providers approved for network participation, are current at time of the committee determination.

This person will also be responsible for ongoing monitoring of providers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years business experience. A combination of college level education and experience will be considered
  • 1 year Credentialing OR Quality audit experience
  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to facilitate the learning process; coaching and mentoring skills
  • Experience with multi-tasking and adhering to tight timelines.
  • PC experience in Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and other business related / associated databases.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Managed Care products, programs, and services.

PREFERRED JOB EXPERIENCE :

  • Previous experience in oversight of credentialing / credentialing committee - HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite tools (Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Adobe, PowerPoint, etc)
