HCP Talent is collaborating with a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation Facility (300 beds) in Staten Island, NY that is seeking a Registered Nurse (Floor Nurse) for a full-time Morning (7am-3pm) Evening (3pm-11pm) or Night (11pm-7am) position.***New Grads Welcome***
RN Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs nursing functions as needed on a regular basis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed understanding the dosages, effects, and reactions to medications.
- Ensures all aspects of care is provided.
- Administer general nursing care to patients in the assigned area under the direct supervision of theRN Unit Manager & RN Supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation in records.
- Check control drugs, review lab reports, review physician orders.
- Inform the Physician orders are transcribed and carried out in a timely manner and other RN duties within the Scope of RN responsibilities.
