We are an outpatient mental health service provider specializing in a wide range of mental health services, including psychiatry, medication management, individual counseling, group counseling, couples therapy, and more. Our psychiatry services are delivered via Telehealth for the convenience of our clients.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Collaborative Psychiatrist to join our team. This position will oversee Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners conducting telehealth sessions for medication management and serve as a collaborating supervisor for our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in applicable states.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role.

Our State and Regional Directors will provide the day to day oversight and support for the NPs

Responsibilities:

-As a collaborative physician, you oversee the care provided by the nurse practitioners (NP)
-The psychiatrist collaborates with the PMHP's in the provision of psychiatric services to evaluate and diagnose adult patients utilizing DSM-5 criteria and develop a plan of care as appropriate according to best practice guidelines, including the prescribing of psychotropic medications

-Work collaboratively with the PMHNP team and conduct patient chart audits on a monthly basis.
- Conduct a minimum of three patient chart audits per month per nurse practitioner that you are supervising; requirements will vary based on state regulations.
- Provide consultation and quality review meetings as required by State regulations.

Qualifications:

- Board-certified Psychiatrist (preferred)
- Experience working with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
