Job Summary and Qualifications

The Stereotactic Radiosurgery Coordinator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team as an advocate and educator for the patient. A primary function of the coordinator is to build relationships with referring providers, treating physicians, and the patient to coordinate a plan of care. Additionally, the coordinator will assume responsibility for the quality, growth, and patient experience aspects of the Stereotactic Radiosurgery program. The Radiosurgery Coordinator may also be required to provide nursing care during stereotactic radiosurgery procedures.

Experience:

• Requires one year of clinical experience in Oncology, Radiology, or Radiation Oncology. 

• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
