We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In This Role:* You will perform delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.* You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.* You will review sterilization records and prepare reports as assigned.* You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.* You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department.What qualifications you will need:* Certification in Sterile Processing is preferred.* Previous experience in an Operating Room, Central Supply or other Material Management setting is preferred.As a full-service, 420 bed acute care hospital, HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood has provided the northeast Houston community with high-quality, cost-effective healthcare for over 25 years.
