Job Summary and Qualifications

• Coordinates MEP maintenance work based on availability of personnel, equipment, and supplies in a such a way as to meet reasonable goals on a daily and ongoing basis.
• Ensures that requisitions are placed in a timely fashion at all times so that supplies and materials are sufficient to meet demands once a project is started.
• Oversees minimal disruption to working environment by making use of out-of-work environment preparation where feasible. Emphasis always given to patient care priorities.
• Responsible for ensuring that work is coordinated with all employees/departments concerned within scope of directive from Director of Facility Management.
• Performs management of Engineering to provide preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment management, utilities management, life safety compliance, physical plant/maintenance repairs and coordination of construction/renovation projects.
• Assists Director of Facility Management in selection, training, and assignment of department staff, as needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent and/or Vocational/Technical Degree
• 3 - 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• 5 years in healthcare engineering environment
• 3 years previous supervisory experience
