Job Summary:

Our ACGME internal medicine residency and transitional year program is seeking a Program Director to join our team in Roanoke, Virginia. This position will provide directorship for both programs.
Qualified candidates:

• Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine
• 3 years post-residency clinical experience required
• 3 years of experience as a faculty member with an accredited residency program preferred
• Program Director or Associate Program Director experience preferred
• Provide leadership for our internal medicine residency program and transitional year program
• Approximately 80% administrative and 20% clinical
• Responsible for the educational content and conduct of the residency programs
• Residency training activities include teaching, precepting, administration and scholarly activities
• Must have excellent leadership, clinical and communication skills
• Our internal medicine residency program was established in 2017 and has 20 residents/year
• Our transitional year program has 15 residents and was established in 2020
