Job Summary:
Methodist Healthcare System is assisting to recruit a hospitalist for Sound Physician in Fredericksburg, TX. This Texas hill country community sits just an hour north of San Antonio, TXQualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine or Family Medicine
- Texas medical license, or eligible for Texas licensure
- Average day census: 22 with an average of 4 admissions (census shared between MD/DO and day APP)
- 7 on 7 off model
- Open 10 bed ICU
- No procedures requirements
- 84 inpatient beds
- 8 LDRPs and C-Section operative suite
- 5 operating suites, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 palliative care suites
- 1 cardiac/interventional catheterization lab
- MHHC has 12 locations across a 14-county region offering a comprehensive array of services including emergency care, interventional radiology, cardiac catheterizations, orthopedic surgery, home care, hospice, urology, vascular, lab, wound care, women’s services along with intensive care, inpatient /outpatient surgeries and more.
