Job Summary:

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified general surgeon to join their established practice in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified/board eligible in general surgery
• Robotics training and interest is preferred
• Ability to obtain KY license
• New residents and experienced surgeons will be considered
• Available to start fall/winter 2024

• Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 primary PCI and accredited Primary Stroke Center

• Cover only 1 hospital; practice located adjacent to hospital campus
• Join 2 experienced general surgeons, 3rd Legacy physician retiring after 25 years with Capital Surgical
• Typical Week: 1:3 call, 2-2.5 days of clinic per week, 2-2.5 days in the OR
• Freedom to practice broad surgical skills; can accommodate interests based on skillset
• DaVinci XI robot with block availability, First Assistants, 4 Operating Rooms
• 1:3 Call, Call Pay Day 1, night call from home
• Supportive medical staff and administration
