Job Summary:

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital​ is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an inpatient opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, FL. 
Qualified Candidates:• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Required
• 1.45 patient per hour 
• 44 bed ED with fast track
• Critical care sub-specialty support 
• Level II Trauma Center
• 267-Bed Hospital 
• 67,000 annual patient visits
• Flexible scheduling-11 hour shifts
• Destin ER affiliated Freestanding ED
• Navarre ER affiliated Freestanding ER

• FWDH: 309 bed HCA level 2 trauma facility (expansion underway adding an additional 30 beds next year)
• Medical ICU- 33 beds (plus an additional 8 CVICU beds)

• Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students from Auburn’s VCOM (D.O.) School
