Position Summary

True Position is searching for a Manufacture Engineering Intern in Valencia, CA. This position requires an individual with a strong analytical mind who would be able to study manufacturing processes and then recommend/implement improvements using a data driven methodology and technical experience. The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will also provide support to different teams throughout the company. 

 Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Create in and out queues in the shop for product flow
• Perform and contribute in Kaizen for Assembly, Shipping and Receiving Area
• Create standard tool and gage inside the shop based on cell needs and manage spend 
• Work on time study (Cycle Times) and setup reduction on top 5 parts
• Standardize and update all mill books 
• Create Standard for Lathe books and begin developing
• Aide in program distribution and enhancement projects
• BOM standardization and creation 
• NPD Process/ Quote standardization 

Experience and Education Required

• College student seeking a degree in an engineering or business-related field
• Initiative, professionalism, and maturity
• Proficient with SolidWorks
• CNC Machining Experience is preferred but not required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
