Are you an accomplished Mechanical Engineer looking for a new challenge in the manufacturing industry?
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement projects impacting facility and production processes
- Provide engineering support for plant modifications, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and equipment training
- Design, plan, and manage the installation of facility and manufacturing equipment
- Manage project costs against budget and ensure maximum return on capital projects
- Work with Managers to optimize equipment operation and maintenance processes
- Conduct equipment capability studies and propose improvements
- Identify technical problems and provide practical solutions
- Support instrumentation and controls troubleshooting, repair, and project development
- Communicate project updates, costs, and recommendations to the management team
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in PLC programming, HMIs, and SCADA programming
- Experience in the metals industry is a plus
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record
- Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
- Ability to use SolidWorks Professional and AutoCAD is beneficial
