We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Super to join our highly skilled, and hard-working team that wants to enjoy their work and do a great job. This position will report to the Project Manager and work typically Monday through Friday. This role is a full-time, salary role located in the West Chester area with benefits. Responsibilities Overview:

  • Participate and/or chair project-related meetings as directed by the Commercial VP.
  • Review and thoroughly understand all aspects of the project scope, details, job site condition, and Client responsibilities and expectations.
  • Collaborates with the Commercial VP and/or Design & Estimating Department regarding changes and/or updates to projects made during Client meetings.
  • Preemptively review specifications and plans (generally the final construction documents), identifies any constructability conflicts, and offers resolutions/revision options as appropriate.
  • Issues and carefully tracks the baseline project schedule (Gantt Chart) and schedules trades, deliveries, and in-house carpenters.
  • Reviews and understands the scope and terms and conditions of all Purchase Orders issued for the project.
  • Manages field-level communication and information, sharing among all relevant parties, utilizing the CoConstruct.
  • Executes all approved Change Order Requests (COR).
  • Collaborates with the Commercial VP and Carpenters on assigned projects ensuring the construction schedule and budget expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Oversees and assists (when required) the in-house Carpenters and Laborers in performing their typical day-to-day construction tasks.
  • Monitors daily communication between the Commercial VP and Clients directly related to onsite activity, schedules, and other concerns; ensures prompt, accurate, and appropriate responses are given to the Client.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional, positive, and courteous manner at all times.
  • Participate in all Company events, including Company meetings, training sessions, and Company social events.
  • Establish a good working relationship with other team members, subcontractors, and Vendors.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends and developments as they relate to the Commercial Site Superintendent position.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures. Act as the Safety Officer for all assigned projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two (2) years of comparable construction superintendent experience or at least three (3) years of progressive experience in carpentry with some supervisory responsibility overseeing the work of Trade Partners. Clear understanding of all phases and elements of residential remodeling and construction procedures.
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) required. Additional training within or directly related to the Construction Management field is highly desired.
  • Commercial construction experience including layout knowledge of foundations, framing, interior finish packages, and effectively managing subcontractors.
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with Clients, team members, Vendors, and specialty trade contractors. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
  • Exceptional level of motivation/enthusiasm, analytical ability, organization, and must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Solid, thorough understand of and ability to consistently follow construction documents (plans and specifications).
  • Computer skills include but are not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, various construction management software platforms, and the Internet.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 hour training/certification for the construction industry preferred.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and state-required insurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Frequent standing, walking and sitting.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to work at computer or desk area.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather including rain, snow, extreme heat and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to work on ladders and roofs up to 50 feet off the ground.
  • Ability to travel to a job site as needed.
  • Must be able to use a computer and see color.

Salary will be based off experience.
