Candidate will join a collaborative team to support stormwater and water resources planning and design efforts, addressing municipal program needs throughout North Carolina, the Mid-Atlantic Region, and broader United States. Planning and design efforts will cover dams and reservoirs, stormwater conveyance, drainage improvement, flood mitigation, and stormwater controls. Candidate should have between 0 – 5 years with EI certification. Responsibilities include conceptual and detailed design, stormwater modeling, calculations, use of GIS and CAD, and report writing. Opportunities exist to support exciting stormwater and water resources initiatives throughout the country from Hazen’s largest office in Raleigh.

Technical experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software, AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, highly organized and possess excellent writing and communication skills.

Bachelor of Science in civil, biological & agricultural, environmental or biosystems engineering required
