Responsibilities

Manage the retail operations of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation bookstore including covering hours of operation, inventory ordering, process transactions and report generation.

• Research, select and purchase items for resale to meet customer needs and achieve revenue goals
• Manage inventory levels to maintain appropriate levels and meet inventory goals
• Design and implement retail merchandising displays and store layout which result in promotion of Hazelden products, optimum use of floor space and maximum sales
• Manage store cash registers and computer system to assure accuracy and tracking of all transactions
• Responsible for financial management of Bookstore to best utilize resources and meet established accounting practices and procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• Associates Degree or 3 years of related experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with retail operations and customer service 
• Ability to work with point of sale software to manage inventory and report generation

 Preferred:

• Vocational or technical training (2 years or more)
