Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team. As the Director of Social Services, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our social services department. This includes maintaining relationships with residents, clients and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with people with developmental disabilities and possess excellent administrative and relationship management skills.

Duties:

- Supervise a team of social services staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities

- Develop and implement social service programs that meet the needs of our clients

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated care for clients

- Maintain relationships with community organizations, agencies, and vendors to enhance services and resources available to residents

- Oversee the collection and analysis of data to evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

- Provide direct social work services as needed

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Social service assistant or Social Service Director

- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices

- Proven experience in program development and management

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups of individuals
