Position Summary: The safety technician must meet hospital competence in video monitoring; assumes responsibility for initiating video monitoring and use of virtual bed rails; uses alarm parameters correctly;identifies and notifies responsible RN of emergency and non-emergency safety events. Demonstrates good communication skills interacting with the patients.
