Haynes Development is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and support the company's financial operations. This person will contribute to our organization's overall success and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records, including but not limited to general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and payroll records.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they are properly recorded and coded to the appropriate accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Generate financial reports and provide regular updates on the company's financial status.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably within the real estate industry and or construction industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software and tools, experience with Appfolio a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
