At Ashbourne Farms, we are looking to build our Showbarn Events team with individuals who are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences through exceptional service and hospitality. As an Event Setup Team Member, you'll be immersed in the rich history and decadence of our exquisite Showbarn and will help transform and prepare the space for a variety of events ranging from luxury weddings to upscale corporate gatherings, elevated live music experiences, and much more.

The Event Setup Team Member is an integral part of the organization, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of events. With a sharp eye for detail and a dedication to excellence, this position is responsible for meticulously preparing event spaces to exceed expectations. By upholding the highest standards of quality and presentation, the Event Setup Team Member contributes significantly to the overall success of each event, reinforcing our brand's reputation for excellence and creating memorable experiences for both guests and team members alike. The position will report to the Venue Manager.

Event Setup Team Member Essential Functions:

• Inventory and Preparation: Thoroughly clean and meticulously polish all inventory items, including glassware, flatware, chargers, votives, and display pieces, ensuring they are in pristine condition before each event.
• Linen Handling and Presentation: Place linens on appropriate tables, steam as needed, and ensure they are neatly tucked to create a sharp and uniform appearance consistent throughout the event space. Press, fold, and set napkins according to instructions from the event manager or planner. Additionally, fold and prepare linens for bread baskets and service trays as required.
• Tablescape Arrangement: Precisely set tables with attention to detail, arranging items such as flatware, glassware, chargers, napkins, and menus to create an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive tablescape.
• Facility Maintenance and Organization: Ensure all areas within the event space are tidy and presentable, disposing of any trash accumulated during setup process. Sort glassware into stacks based on the needs of each bar or service area and organize the scullery in preparation for the dish team.
• Team Collaboration and Support: Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure seamless event setup, providing support as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Communicate proactively with event managers, planners, and other team members to address any issues or concerns and ensure alignment with event objectives.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to fulfill operational requirements.
