- Maintain, or ensure maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment cleanliness, repair, and safety standards, including dish washing.
- Immediately report safety hazards.
- Prepare high-quality food items under the supervision of Culinary Manager.
- Prepare and assemble ingredients.
- Store excess food at the correct temperature to avoid spoilage.
- Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed.
- Ensure cooking utensils are clean before each use.
- Clean and sterilize food preparation areas.
- Assist other cooks to ensure orders are complete in a timely fashion.
- Efficiently resolve any customer complaints as directed by Culinary Manager.
- Ensure food health and safety regulations are followed.
- Master each station in the kitchen.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques and/or a desire to learn.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
