We have an immediate opening for a Part Time Beverage Production Team Member to join our dynamic team! This position reports to the Beverage & Service Director.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Prep fruits and vegetables including cleaning, peeling and cutting.
Produce, bottle and label fresh juices.
Properly package, weigh and label juices according to weights and measures standards.
Prepare and bottle all juice bar drinks ordered consistently and safely while maintaining high productivity levels.
Uphold organic standards for produce.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages, cash handling and store safety and security.
Engage and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
Support front of house if needed.
Models and delivers outstanding customer service.
Arrives on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
Follows and complies, or ensures compliance, with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment cleanliness, repair, and safety standards.
Immediately reports safety hazards.
Prepare all fresh made syrups, citrus juices, alternative milks (nuts and coconuts), and batch drinks.
Requirements:
Previous juice production and prep experience preferred.
High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for Haymarket products, core values, and company philosophy.
Ability to:
Follow a recipe.
Identify and troubleshoot issues and provide appropriate solutions.
Visually examine products and quality for freshness.
Deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members, customers, and vendors.
Follow directions and procedures, effective time management and organization skills.
Basic math skills.
Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Must have the flexibility to work weekends and with working hours.
Work within and strictly follow all safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Standing/walking 6-8 hours.
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. Will use induction burners, blenders, Vacuum sealers, blast chillers, etc.
