Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Operations & Systems Training Supervisor will be integral in the adoption of the new Logiwa WMS platform, as well as other potential systems, across the Knight Swift Warehouse & Fulfillment network. This individual will combine process expertise and technical knowledge to facilitate the bridge between operations and the WMS, as well as other systems.
• This role will be evolutionary with heavy emphasis on user acceptance testing and go-live operations across the United States.
• Translation of Supply Chain needs will be imperative to accept functional specifications.
• Build operational knowledge of functional departments in the warehouse (Receiving, Picking, Sorting, Packing, Inventory Control and Shipping).
• Over time, the role will migrate into a focus on training sustainment, workflow improvements, and best practice sharing.
• Able to travel to warehouses and watch the system work, perform audits, identify opportunities with leadership, and partner with our associate base.
• Develop and implement training curriculum (operational and leadership) to meet the needs of warehouse operations.
• Create and edit standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, quick reference, user and learning guides by conducting in-depth interviews with subject matter experts, managers and/or associates and observation.
• Recommend changes, updates, and audit warehouse Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work with Information Technology and facility General Managers to recommend changes, and to test and implement new processes.
• Develop and audit Operational Reviews by functional area.
• To provide consistency over all processes and procedures throughout all the Warehouse & Fulfillment network improving efficiencies.
• Must be able to self -manage (time, travel, and expenses).
• Tracks, evaluate and reports the progress of managers/supervisors/trainees to leadership team.
• Assume temporary leadership role when customer service levels are not being maintained.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across multiple departments, internally and externally.

Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related disciplines or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field
• Microsoft Office, WMS systems, YMS systems
• Able to identify inefficiencies in a process and recommend solutions
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, multi-task, and meet changing deadlines
• Ability to learn new software programs and implement when appropriate
• Leadership skills/self -management
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to present and facilitate training.
