The Production Control Assistant supports the Production Control Manager with overseeing the production planning and master schedule within the organization and can perform all required functions within the assigned area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MANUFACTURING

•Process all make or buy orders that have been entered and provide ship dates to PCA Shipping

•Create jobs for manufacturing cells and schedule them accordingly

•Pick and prep all manufacturing jobs with necessary information needed to complete the job

•Receive and review changes and cancellations from customers. Accept or deny requests

•Provide made to order jobs direct to logistics

•Work with Supply Chain Manager on expediting items

•Review ERP daily and determine what needs to be made and create jobs for the production floor or what needs to be made and submit requisition to purchasing

•Provide other support to production and management as required

•Assist in issuing and tracking production orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule

•File and perform miscellaneous duties for department

•Cross train by occasionally working on production floor

•Assist in answering phones

Preferred Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 or more years of experience in similar role in a manufacturing environment.
