Job Summary
- Assist the Purchasing Supervisor in management of purchase orders and quote requests facility wide.
- Reconcile packing slips and vendor invoices for accuracy to prepare for the Purchasing Supervisor approval.
- Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, issues, backorders, etc.
- Maintain medical supply charge codes and costs while working with the Business Office.
- Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory management.
- Organize and maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database facility wide.
- Record and track supply recalls, expirations, and PAR levels.
- Assist the Purchasing Supervisor in maintaining records for the Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement Committee (QAPI).
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of purchasing and/or healthcare related experience.
