Hawthorne Lane is Hiring a Recruiting Associate Near Washington, DC

This is a full cycle recruiting position handling recruitment of job seekers and management of their searches through sourcing, submittal, offer negotiation, and follow up after acceptance. Hawthorne Lane’s team builds talent communities by uniting tried and true recruiting techniques with creative strategies to create and grow relationships for long-term engagement. As the Recruiting Associate, you will have the chance to train firsthand with industry professionals, while receiving guidance and 1:1 coaching to help you to build a successful and fulfilling, long-term recruiting career.

About the Job:

· Participate in implementing and executing recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings and help build an ongoing, healthy pipeline of qualified candidates.

· Act as a first line ambassador to potential candidates by filtering, screening, interviewing, and actively networking with talent in the job market.

· Learn the profiles within DC talent communities, so that you can help best match candidates with appropriate opportunities.

· Assess the hard skills, soft skills, and intangibles of applicants, including their business acumen, preferred work environments, and career passions.

· Perfect the art of extending a job offer to top choice candidates while balancing the best interests of all parties involved and maintaining the highest ethical standards.

· Respond to and qualify employee referrals and active candidates for open opportunities.

· Manage logistics for recruiting process, including confirming phone and in person meetings, managing multiple calendars, and conducting employment references as needed.

· Create a high-touch "best in class" experience.

· Generate correspondence and communication under tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.

About You:
