Duties:

• Providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
• Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate.
• Reporting changes in patient’s condition to the nursing staff promptly.
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Documenting patient information in the necessary systems accurately.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of patient privacy laws.
• Physical ability to lift and transport patients and stand for long periods.
• Must be available for varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• High level of compassion and patience with a sensitive demeanor to handle patients' emotional needs.
