POSITION GOAL
To promote HACAP’s Support Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF) within the community and conduct intake screenings with homeless veterans in the assigned area. This position will work with other community partners in identifying homeless veterans, referring them to eligible services, and working in the community to end veteran homelessness. Position will be based in Cedar Rapids and responsible for conducting outreach activities in Linn, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Benton, Cedar and other counties as needed by the program.
Monday - Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm (some non-traditional hours may be needed); $24.86 hourly.
*This position is eligible for a $1200 retention incentive after successfully completing 180 days of employment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree in social service field of study and 2 years experience
OR
Seven (7) years related experience and/or training
OR
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
