Hawaiian Island Twisters Gymnastics is Hiring a Gymnastics Coach Near Honolulu, HI

Hawaiian Island Twisters is a 501c(3) non-for-profit organization dedicated to providing Hawaii with progressive, high quality gymnastics since 1996.

Today, the facility is home to one of the most competitive gymnastics programs in the state and is proud to be recognized with the 2016 Region 2 Club of the Year Award. We participate in USAG Women’s and Men’s JO and TOPs programs on the national level, in addition to providing recreational classes for parent/tot, preschool, girls gymnastics, boyss gymnastics, and tumbling.

Pay Rate: Competitive pay based on experience

Status: Part-time

Coach’s Responsibilities:

  • Actively lead classes with fun and excitement
  • Develop relationships with students and keep parents informed of how great their kids are doing
  • Complete attendance sheets, quarterly skill evaluations and level certificates
  • Support supervisor and other coaches as needed
  • Provide safe environments for learning and manage situations calmly and proficiently

Qualifications:

  • Must love working with children, experience preferred
  • No gymnastics experience necessary
  • Good communication, self-motivation, and a caring and helpful attitude with a desire to see kids improve and grow
  • Great teamwork and customer service skills
