Hawaiian Island Creations is Hiring a Retail Sales Associate Near Kamuela, HI
Since 1971, Hawaiian Island Creations has provided Hawaii with quality surfboards, skateboards, clothing and accessories. HIC is a locally owned and operated business with fifteen stores across Oahu, Maui and the Big Island.
HIC Surf at the Shops at Mauna Lani is currently hiring for part-time and full-time sales associates. Team members are trained to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment. HIC offers flexible hours and generous employee discounts. Retail experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Approach and greet customers in a timely manner.
- Provide a positive & upbeat shopping experience, while staying engaged with the customers at all times.
- Assist customers with fitting rooms, offering additional products.
- Restocking, maintain general housekeeping duties & backroom organization.
- Efficient POS procedures, including cash, credit and debit card sales and exchanges/returns.
- Effectively problem solve, utilizing all resources available to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain visual standards and remerchandise to sell-through. Keeping the store fresh and full at all times.
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain a positive & friendly attitude at all times.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively & professionally with customers & co-workers.
- Have the ability to stand for extended periods of time, and occasionally be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 – 40 per week
