Coordinates and executes timely communication of receiving documents and timely reporting of discrepancies with BOL’s to respective departments. Filing of documents included. Control and allocate carrier resources to pick up and deliver freight in the most cost effective manner while maintaining service expectations. Coordinate execution of deliveries and provide status updates to internal/external partners through a variety of mediums including the Transportation Management System (TMS). Facilitate communication and build strong working relationships among the operations, carriers, customer service, procurement, manufacturers and other ES3 team members. Facilitate carrier conversations to set expectations on service, capacity, communication and rates. Complete manufacturer and lane analysis, with an understanding of the revenue and expense components, providing recommendations for improvement; some negotiation and execution of changes will occur. Maintain data integrity of facilities, update rating and routing lanes, and other administrative tasks as needed.
