Hawaii Radiologic Associates is Hiring a Diagnostic Imaging Manager Near Kona, HI

Hawaii Radiologic Associates is hiring an Imaging Clinic Manager for our Kailua Kona clinic. This position is responsible for the overall management and administration of our West Hawaii Clinic which performs a variety of exams including CT, DEXA, Mammography, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-Ray. This position manages clinical staff (technical, non-technical, and support staff), and is responsible for fostering a positive patient and employee experiences, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining equipment. Relocation assistance may be provided to candidates who do not currently reside on Hawaii Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of administrative and technical staff.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care by overseeing clinical operations and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Ensure scheduling, staff shifts, and other operational aspects of the clinic are optimized.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise administrative and technologist staff.
  • Collaborate with department leads for maximum efficiency of the clinic and patient care.
  • Ensure quality control standards set by ACT, ARRT, etc. are met.
  • Evaluate an ensure that the quality and quantity of images are in conjunction with industry standards and the recommendations of the physicists, vendors, and radiologists.
  • Function in a technical role, as needed, and maintain competencies.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Must be registered with ARRT or related modality certification.
  • Must have a State of Hawaii License (CRT) if required to perform exams.
  • Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) certification preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical imaging, including X-Ray, CT, PET scan, MRI, Mammography and/or Sonography.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supervising or managing in the medical field.
  • Working knowledge with PACS/RIS, IT, MRI, CT, Ultrasounds, diagnostic, scheduling and reception preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and coding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $104,000.00 - $116,480.00 per year
