The Havertys Interior Design Consultant role:
Are you an Interior Designer, or interested in furthering your career as an Interior Designer by gaining design experience? Continue your Interior Design career with a fun and rewarding company by joining our team at Havertys Furniture! We are seeking top Design Consultant or Design Graduates to work at Havertys furniture helping to create dynamic Home Décor designs for our Clients.

Whether you are experienced in the furniture business or looking to make a change in your career, Havertys Furniture is committed to your success. Our paid training program will teach you everything you need to know about how we serve our customers and our product line.
We offer a guaranteed income base plus an uncapped commission structure. Our Interior Design Consultants are paid hourly plus commission typically earning $42,000 - $65,000 per year. Your typical retail schedule is five days a week including Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am – 6 pm. Position may require evening and weekend work at hours convenient to the Customer’s schedule.

You must also be highly organized and able to maintain a responsive follow-up schedule. It is also important that you display excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to connect and establish relationships with a diverse group of customers. Successful Havertys Design Consultants excel in creating presentation targeted to their customers’ needs and help to bring the vision of their home to life.
