Haverhill Management, LLC is Hiring a Sr. Associate Attorney Near Plantation, FL

Our client, TrustWorks Law is seeking a Sr. Estate Planning Associate for its Plantation office. TrustWorks provides comprehensive personalized estate planning services to help clients prepare for the future.

We are in need of an experienced, outgoing and charismatic attorney who is looking for a bright future with a growing firm.

You will receive outstanding support from our amazing team of Legal Assistants, Paralegals and Client Success Coordinators who are meticulously selected to be part of your team.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients in estate planning, including consultations and drafting of all necessary documents, including will, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), powers of attorney, advance directives, special needs trusts, ILITs, charitable entities, etc.
  • Handle matters from inception to conclusion, including meeting with clients, developing a strategy for an estate plan, and overseeing the preparation of the appropriate estate planning documents to meet the client’s objectives.
  • Manage trust administration and probate representation.
  • Guide clients through the probate process, from validating wills to resolving disputes among heirs or beneficiaries.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information.
  • Provide caseload reports on a regular basis.
  • May be required to present educational seminars
  • Communicates with clients in person and via mail, email and telephone to commence an engagement, to keep the matter moving forward on a timely basis, and to make certain that the efforts of the firm’s support staff are in tune with the client’s needs.

Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Estate Planning, Elder Law or Probate Law.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and be in Good Standing.
  • Effective, clear, concise, and accurate communication, both oral and written, at an appropriate level to the situation and the client.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated client relationship skills, including the ability to lead in-person client meetings.
