Haver & Boecker USA is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant! In this role you will support our Assembly department by researching and negotiating goods, entering and processing data and keeping the SAP database current.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data into SAP
• Negotiate rates and prices with vendors and secure most cost effective solutions
• Follow up on order confirmations, incomplete and inaccurate vendor shipments and file and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Check order confirmations and data lists for accuracy and compare with information in SAP database
• Manage open orders and adjust orders if required (technical specifications, delays, item number or pricing)
• Scan documents and attach files to the appropriate transactions in SAP database
• Continuously enter new information into database to keep system current
• General supportive administrative duties as needed

Your profile:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in an industry related field
• Motivated and determined mindset
• Exceptional computer skills (MS Office - specifically Excel, SAP)
• A high level of detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Advanced organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent English communication skills ( a second language such as Spanish or German is an asset)
