As the Licensing Specialist, you'll manage licenses, permits, and entities - you'll help ensure administrative excellence, ensuring operations run smoothly.
We're seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual with a knack for problem-solving and is well-organized. You'll dive into the details of the current process, and take ownership of the day-to-day administrative tasks that are the backbone of our community operations.
Responsibilities
    • Manage licensing compliance for 80 communities (operating, dealer, health, and other licenses) by working with the government and other agencies to obtain new licenses and renewals.
    • Entity management - working with our 3rd party manager on entity formation, registration, annual filing, renewal, managing registered agents, etc.
    • Coordinating with other departments on new acquisitions, post-close follow-up, and re-financing.
    • Executive support, as needed.
    • Assist in preparing documents and presentation materials.
    • General file organization.
    • Notary support for the office (cost of becoming Notary Public provided by Havenpark Communities).
    • Manage state-manufactured housing association memberships (add new communities, renewals, and remove locations).

Qualifications
    • 1-3 years previous experience with licensing, permitting, or other related work required.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related area of study.
    • Licensing, paralegal, or experience related to working with legal documents is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs/Sheets
    • Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of employees to achieve shared goals.
    • Strong follow-up and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Must be a self-starter who can pay attention to detail, prioritize, and multi-task.
