We are seeking qualified Admissions Coordinators and Admissions Specialists to join our team. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring potential referrals and calls are proactively responded to, triaged, and assessed for admission. You will conduct a thorough clinical, social, functional, and financial assessment to assist in triaging the client to the most appropriate level of care. You will also conduct an initial assessment of client problems and needs and report to the clinical team in order to initiate treatment planning. Additionally, you will enter all pertinent information into the EMR system and prioritize client needs and issues related to patient orientation. As an Admissions Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that clients are fully informed and educated on their patient responsibility and clinical recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure potential referrals and calls are proactively responded to, triaged, and assessed for admission
  • Conduct a thorough clinical, social, functional, and financial assessment to assist in triaging the client to the most appropriate level of care
  • Conduct initial assessment of client problems and needs and report to the clinical team in order to initiate treatment planning
  • Enter all pertinent information into the EMR system
  • Prioritize client needs and issues related to patient orientation
  • Provide information to clients and families in order to help them decide about treatment, prepare for admission, and what they can expect to encounter
  • Share pertinent information with the team as obtained from clients or families
  • Maintain a professional demeanor both on the telephone and in person
  • Maintain confidentiality pertaining to clients and families adhering to HIPAA

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in the related field (such as a call center, hospital, rehab, treatment, or wellness center).
  • Admissions and Intake experience and triage experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency and behaviors associated with withdrawals and the recovery process and mental health (preferred).
  • This is an on-site position. No remote work is available for this currently.

Schedules:

Monday to Friday (Off Sat & Sun) or Saturday to Wednesday (Off Thursday & Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
