Revenue Cycle Analytics & Collections Director (Hybrid)

Haven Behavioral Healthcare operates seven acute-care psychiatric hospitals and outpatient clinics across the United States that offer a full continuum of care for anyone dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, from young adults to seniors.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Haven treats a complete array of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, personality disorders and many other illnesses. Our addiction treatment services include alcohol abuse, illicit drug addiction, and prescription drug use. Each facility is specially designed to provide a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment to begin the journey to better mental health.

Position summary: Position will compile, analyze, and present findings and recommendations regarding optimal revenue cycle key performance indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Additionally, the position will provide ad hoc reporting and analysis in regard to operational performance. Provides leadership and direct supervision to Insurance Follow-up/Collection Staff in the daily collections process necessary for a successful Centralized Business Office specializing in behavioral healthcare servicing multiple facilities. Provide training for Revenue Cycle Process, policies, procedures and system training for all new hires and temporary employees. Answer questions and provide direction/suggestions for next steps regarding outstanding AR, systemic payor issues, individual claims resulting in a difficult collection cycle, credentialing, adjustments, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, health care management, or other relevant fields required.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience including third party collections and a working knowledge of government and non-government payor reimbursement methodologies and coding.
  • 2 years experience in healthcare billing and/or insurance claims follow-up in Behavioral Health preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ data-focused and analytics experience required including advance Microsoft Office and Tableau skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Managed Care and related tools for assessing payer performance.
  • Superior knowledge of CMS, Medicaid, Payer Credentialing, and revenue cycle functions.
  • Financial management skills including the ability to financially analyze data for operations, budgeting, auditing, and forecasting.
