Reports to: Director of Medical Imaging
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:Minimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline- required
Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology program.
- Proof of accreditation would be required for the year of graduation on hire
Minimum EducationCurrent compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty(ies) as appropriate.

Required SkillsCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
Registry: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer R.D.M.S. within 1 year of hire in:
Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), OB (OB), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
OR
A.R.R.T. - Ultrasound within 1 year of hire.

Minimum Work ExperienceTwo years work experience in hospital setting (clinical rotation is not applicable) in sonography or radiology preferred.

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
