As the Manager of Personal Lines, you will drive initiatives that support the growth and success of the department. You will enthusiastically lead the Personal Lines Team to support the Agency in achieving our Objectives and Key Results of Independence, Identity, and Infinite Game.

• Leadership: Communicates and behaves in a constructive way that establishes, extends, and maintains trusting relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Be an exemplary role model of the Agency and its core values. Develops a high-performance Personal Lines team through definition of purpose, career paths and departmental workflows. Influences across the Agency by supporting the career development of others.
• Business Savviness: Strategically understands Personal Lines. Creates an annual business plan, with measurable goals and budget to support the global achievements for the Agency. Measures results through use of key performance indicators. Allocates resources to optimize achievement of strategic business objectives. Cultivates and maintains strong partnerships with carriers, clients and team members.
• Communication: Develops and presents information clearly, concisely, and accurately. Communicates at a level appropriate to the audience. Provides a level of detail necessary for the situation. 
• Technical Expertise: Serve as the internal subject matter expert on all questions related to Personal Lines. Develop efficient workflows, processes, and procedures. Provides solutions and strategy to resolve issues and concerns. Readily adapts and responds to the changing needs of the Agency and Industry.

• You have, or are willing to earn and maintain, a valid Wisconsin Property, Casualty, and Life insurance license within 3 months of hire. 
• You are a confident leader of people and processes.
• You know your way around a computer and won’t have any concerns navigating an array of carrier websites and technology systems.
• You have experience working in a fast-paced office environment, preferably in the insurance (or related) industry. 
• You drive success through meaningful and measurable strategic initiatives and KPIs.
• You manage the expectations and deliverables with your team, internal and external business partners, and key stakeholders.
• You drive change and are comfortable taking risk.

Working Conditions:

• Position will be headquartered in the Madison, Wisconsin or Pewaukee, Wisconsin offices.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Occasional travel to events will be expected.
