We are seeking a Director of Maintenance to join our corporate flight operations team, to assist with the safe operation of the company’s aircraft. As a Director of Maintenance, you will help support the travel needs for Hausmann Construction executives, employees and affiliates. As a flight operations team, we are focused on high standards, excellent customer service, risk management, professionalism, and teamwork.

General duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensure the quality of aircraft, engine and avionics maintenance and repair
• Perform minor inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Establish and maintain records as required by FARs, manufacturers and company policy
• Establish maintenance safety rules and procedures
• Establish spares and ground support equipment inventories
• Establish aircraft handling procedures
• Provide efficient and timely scheduling of all maintenance and repair
• Direct compliance of minimum equipment list (MEL) maintenance procedures
• Assume responsibility for maintenance and upkeep of the aviation hangar

Preferred qualifications:

• Broad knowledge of and experience with the maintenance of super-midsize corporate aircraft
• Experience in maintaining helicopters is a plus
• An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate, and ideally an Inspection Authorization (IA)
• At least 5 years of experience maintaining jet aircraft or MRO experience
• An associates degree, or a formal technical education in aviation
• No FAA accidents, incidents or violations
