Haulistic is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to join our Special Services team. This individual will be responsible for the routing and booking of International freight to include both imports and exports in all modes as well as organizing customs documents and filing government documents in a timely manner. This position will also support and guide the customer on the requirements for their shipment as well as track and trace all shipments.

Background & Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking) highly preferred
• International Logistics/Supply Chain experience preferred
• Knowledge of ISF and AES classifications and INCOTERMS preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Route and quote all requests for freight movements.
• Book and document all steps of freight movement.
• Communicate with Air/Ocean/Rail/Truck/LTL/Small package carriers.
• Maintain compliance in training and knowledge of all government agencies affiliated with Import/ Export, compliance, regulatory, Hazmat, FMC, IAC, TSA, DOT, CTPAT and all other agency requirements as needed.
• Create and monitor invoicing of customers, agents, and customs brokers to stay in compliance with regulations.
• Support and educate stations, clients, agents, and sales on the international process.
• Track and trace all steps of freight move while communicating with customers, stations, and agents.
• Research, audit, and set up prospective carriers, agents, and broker partners for more competitive options.
