- Candidates will ideally live in close proximity to one of our data centers for on-site work needs, and will otherwise work in a Remote/Hybrid capacity.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience with reporting development, management, support, and implementation in a Microsoft SQL environment.
- Education: Associates Degree in a technical discipline and/or 8 years of industry experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 5 years of industry experience.
- Certification: Microsoft SQL MCSA preferred but not required
- High level of expertise in the following areas:
- Microsoft SSRS 2012/2016/2019 (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Microsoft Power BI
- Microsoft Visual Studio and Report Builder
- Microsoft SQL Server (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019) administration
- Microsoft Power Automate
- Complex SQL query writing
- SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) administration
- Data backup and recovery techniques
- ETL/data transformation methods and implementation
- Data virtualization, analytics, and integration techniques
- Knowledge of multi-server, high availability RPO/RTO in a Microsoft SQL environment
- Data performance optimization
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills to make sense of unclear data and requirements
- Understanding/experience with cloud based integration services and providers is required.

- High level of experience in a highly virtualized, converged datacenter environment is a requirement.
- High level of experience using service desk tools for ticket management (ServiceNow).
- Full understanding of Microsoft based desktop & server operating systems.
- High level of experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.
- Strong technical writing skills and good ability to speak to different audiences on their terms.
- Experience interacting with PostgreSQL, FoxPro, MySQL, and Microsoft Access preferred.
- Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing quality work. Operates effectively within the organizational structure and demonstrates the ability to work independently, perform well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Maintains a high level of technical skill by attending technical seminars, training courses, and completing certifications. Communicates this knowledge to others as required.
