Hatch Stamping Company is looking for a dedicated, dependable, and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Die Setter.
Die Setter must be knowledgeable of Pressroom operations and have a high mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary).
· Verify die maintenance has been done according to the die tag.
· Confirm that the Spectrum is set-up correctly for that particular set-up.
· Follow die setting procedure according to for each press, verifying at the same time that set-up sheets are updated and/or changed if needed.
· Keep presses stocked with materials.
· Document piece counts for the end of each run, shift change and/or changing of job.
· Observe the visual and gage quality of the presses in an assigned area.
Qualifications and Skills
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
· Skilled with both hand and power tools
· Must possess demonstrated mechanical aptitude
· Computer operating and programming skills
