Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for attorneys
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate client information in our database
- Assist with document management, including filing, organizing, and retrieving legal documents
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with drafting correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including distributing correspondence to the appropriate recipients
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a law firm or legal setting
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is preferred
- Proficient in data entry and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
