Program Controller – CBID III

Summary:

Hatalom is seeking a Program Controller in support of the U.S. Army Computer Based Instructional Design III (CBID III) contract. The Program Controller will oversee program revenues and expenses to ensure it stays within budget. The successful candidate will also provide input to management for how the organization can improve its program operations to meet its needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain program budgets in collaboration with program managers and other stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into program performance, cost drivers, and potential risks.
• Monitor program expenditures against approved budgets and highlight any variances.
• Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Prepare regular financial forecasts and reports to keep stakeholders informed about the financial health of programs.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information for decision making purposes.
• Identify and assess financial risks associated with programs and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Collaborate with program teams to address any financial challenges and recommend solutions.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting principles, and organizational polices.
• Collaborate with program managers, executives, and other stakeholders to communicate financial information effectively.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience as a Program Controller in DoD industry or in a similar financial role
• Proficiency in financial software tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft products
• Problem-solving skills
• Budgeting skills
• Experience with Earned value management (EVM)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Program Control or similar role.

LOCATION:Orlando, FL (not eligible for remote/telework) - relocation assistance is not available for this position.

STATUS OF POSITION: Full-time, Salary Exempt
