Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve drinks to customers following standard recipes
- Operate cash registers, collect payments, and provide change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
Skills:
- Proficient in basic math for handling transactions
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar Point of Sale systems
- Knowledge of food service procedures and standards
- Familiarity with cash register operations
- Strong sales skills to promote specials and upsell items
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Prior experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of mixology and creating unique cocktails
- Customer service-oriented mindset
