Full Job Description
Hascall Steel is looking for Packagers/Assemblers to work alongside our current team.
Must be able to adhere to policy and complete tasks safely. Overtime may be required depending on workload.
A Packager/Assembler will secure steel coils onto wooden skids, using banding tools, a hilo, and/or overhead crane, and moving finished goods to shipping staging areas.
Responsibilities of a Packager/Assembler:
- Wrap stacks, bundles, or coils of steel for safe shipment
- Perform Quality Inspections on shipments
- Maintain inventory counts/records
- Cut lumber or other reinforcing material protect material during shipment
- Completes and verifies ship tags on product
Required skills of a Packager/Assembler:
- Use a variety of hand tools and measuring devices
- Ability to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to lift 20 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs intermittently
- Need to perform basic problem solving with high attention to detail

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
